San Diego, CA, July 27, 2010: Moss Grills and Smoker will be attending It’s A Green Day Festival – Purple Heart Day Ceremony Opener at NTC Park – Liberty Station ~ Point Loma. Moss Grills and Smoker, was established in January 2009 by Chief Frederick Moss (United States Navy-Active). The company manufactures all of its parts with hand crafted workmanship out of 55 gallon drum barrels with BRAND NEW BARRELS, coated on the outside with H.H.P. to prevent chipping, wheels for easy mobility, wood handles, heat thermometer, control ventilation valves, drain holes, and fitted internally with a sturdy three quarter wire mesh and uses a colored finished wood tops which are convenient for prepping and chopping. With added space from the wood fronts you have plenty of extra room for your seasonings, sauces and grilling utensils right at your fingertips.
Moss Grills takes pride in reintroducing the past Tradition with Barrel BBQ’s. The company has created several styles to fit your needs. The fifty five (55) gallon grill is ideal for cooking in three different styles and perfect for catering outdoor events. One-hundred (100) and ten (10) gallon, GAS-CHARCOAL-ROTISSERIE BBQ Grill all in one!! This side by side double barrel grill is ideal for cooking in three different styles and perfect for catering outdoor events. All of our products are made in the USA.
The company also provides catering with good old BBQ services for parties, weddings, retirement, and special events. We strive to be GREEN with all natural meat, poultry, greens and grain from our smoked cooked ribs and homemade potatoes salad, turnip greens and much more.
At the event you will find FREE Live Reggae and Blues Music with East of Echo, Subliminal Trip and others. The opening ceremonies will commence with the San Diego Sea Cadets Corps, Challenger Division delivering a Color Guard in observance of Veterans, current servicemen and servicewomen who received the “Purple Heart Medal”. The Purple Heart is presented to those who have been wounded or killed while serving with the U.S. military. August 7th is the day to observe these servicemen and servicewomen.
